I didn't like the content at all and although it is geared for complete beginners,it really was very elementary with as I recall, not that many pages.I asked for a refund shortly after.
Recommended read for the parent of a child interested in astronomy. Very short, easy to understand narrative of what to buy and more importantly what to avoid. I'd also recommend searching for free astronomy software for the various smart phones and tablets for the youngsters. Don't forget to encourage our young ladies in addition to young men to appreciate the sciences such as astronomy.
This is a good book for beginners. It has the basic info that a beginner would need to help pick out a telescope. The book does seem to jump around a bit and would be helped by a professional editor. Overall I thinks it's a good read for a newbie.
This e-book is very informative and has valuable information for anyone who wants to get into astronomy. I've always had an interest in our celestial system and hope to use this book when I finally make my telescope purchase.
